ZUFLUCHT provides assistance for victims of domestic violence. The ZUFLUCHT is an anonymous, secure accommodation for women who have suffered violence in the family or friends and want to bring themselves and their children in safety. Here they can talk about your experiences, decisions and how to rearrange their lives. They are individually supported and accompanied, transferred to other support services as necessary to keep a successful start in a life free of violence. The project is part of a network for victims of domestic violence in the district Görlitz, in Saxony. In public, the ZUFLUCHT campaigns for the rights of affected women and children.
